Rapper/producer Sho Richardsin comes through with a vibrant cut titled “Tushonda’s Graduation Present Freestyle (Remix by Coming to America Motorcade Theme Song).” Over the cinematic backdrop from the cult classic movie, Sho Richardsin delivers a fiery performance laced with unbridled bravado and storytelling to match.




SOMA – “Rudeboi”


SOMA is a collaboration between Zimbabwe-born rapper Shumba Maasai and UK producer Hermes, long time friends and members of Plus TRBE Recordings collective. “Rudeboi” is a harrowing cut that dwells on Africans wishing to migrate to Europe. He doesn’t hold back and gives the listener an unfiltered account of life in the west and it’s not as rosy as they make it out to be.
“Rudeboi” is the duo’s lead single from their 4 track project TOTKO, the follow up to its 2016 predecessor T.O.T.K.O

“Hesitated” is Narou‘s newest release of his GOOD COMPANY EP; a body of work reflecting on the importance of being surrounded by positive people. He delivers a smooth alluring piece that is quite reflective and melodic as well.




Big Haz – “We Live Hip Hop” feat. Daz Dillinger

Big Haz homage to the culture and the rappers that came before him on “We Live Hip Hop.” Backed by a west coast styled bounce, he and the legendary Dogg Pound member Daz Dillinger share their personal love for the culture and give props to emcees like UTFO, RUN DMC, NWA, LL Cool J, Canibus amongst others. This song is taken from Big Haz’s upcoming Sophomore Album which will be released in late October 2020.

Hope Tala – “All My Girls Like To Fight”


London based artist Hope Tala‘s new single “All My Girls Like To Fight” caught her attention with its unique songwriting and gripping vocal performance. The track is a bossa nova inspired cut that swirls and curves at every turn. The sublime mood is quite enticing and you will get hooked once you hit the play button. “All My Girls Like To Fight.” is the lead single from her upcoming EP Girl Eats Sun, her debut via Republic Records.




Regina Divot – “Sauce”


Regina Divot makes our list with some good old “Sauce.” The talented act delivers a melodic performance showcasing her versatile skills over the moody trap backdrop. It’s all about self-affirmation and confidence.




Saif – “Live” (feat. Munia)


Australian Bangladeshi hip-hop act SAIF delivers an insightful piece titled “Live”. A moody, piano-driven piece that sees SAIF pouring his emotions on wax in an unapologetic manner.

JP Reynolds – “How Many More”


JP Reynolds doesn’t mince his words as he voices his anger and frustration on his new single “How Many More.” He dwells on the current state of police brutality and wonders how many more would occur before the true change takes place. Potatohead People & De La Soul ft. Posdnous and Kapok – “Baby Got Work”


Vancouver’s Potatohead People team up with Posdnous (De La Soul ) and Kapok on this uplifting collaboration titled “Baby Got Work.” Backed by a smooth bass-driven soulful backdrop, Posdnous implores us to stay focused on our purpose and not get distracted by external forces no matter how hard it gets. Joining him on the track is singer Kapok who ties it up with a solid melodic chorus. “Baby Got Work” is the second single off their new album Mellow Fantasy. The LP is due on Bastard Jazz Recordings Fall, 2020.

James Gardin x MikeyyAustin – “Shine Thru”


James Gardin teams up with MikeyyAustin for a new collaboration titled “Shine Thru.” The production has a nice fusion of jazz and trap-Esque mood with its horn-driven texture which fits Gardin’s melodic flow and insightful lyrics.
