Terror Firma – “Free & Forgiven”

NZ-based producer Terror Firma makes a huge splash on our radar with his new release “Free & Forgiven”. The anthemic tune is made up of rich guitar chops and vocal samples layered over punchy drums. The samples are taken from his dad’s band Northbound, which was active decades ago. “Free & Forgiven” is the first single from the forthcoming Dear Rectangle EP.

macj – “heartbloom”

Krakow-based Polish producer macj is preparing to drop a new album but in the interim, he shares a new single titled “heartbloom” with us. The song is a soulful and reflective piece ripe with moody strings, and smooth horn phrases with pulsating bass-laden drums. The song is the second single from his forthcoming album.

Vincent Adara – “Riverside Stroll”

German producer Vincent Adara caught our ears with “Riverside Stroll”, a chilled lofi soul beat. Underpinned by sombre guitar plucks, moody basslines and soft drum grooves, the producer takes us on a nostalgia-inducing aural journey.

Tenderlonious – “Seventh Wonder”

Multi-talented producer/DJ/record label boss Tenderlonious returns with “Seventh Wonder”, a dance-infused funk tune laden with jazzy elements. The 4-to-the-floor drums are steady and the layered textures have a dreamy and summery vibe.

This is the first track off of Side B, curated by Butter Goods.

Jonny Rythmns – “Warped Mind”

Jonny Rythmns got some weird sounds in his new release titled “Warped Mind”. A mellow brooding beat made up of sizzling synths, sine waves and snapping drum grooves.

DaMarcus VanBuren – “Forever We (Intro)” [Instrumental Version]

DaMarcus VanBuren gifts us with the instrumental version of “Forever We (Intro)”. A cinematic and punchy beat comprised of bright synths and atmospheric textures layered over smooth drum grooves.

Reli Beats – “Furia”

“Furia” is the newest beat release from Argentinian producer Reli Beats and it’s magnificent from the jump. The drums are hard-hitting, and the horns and weird synths blend seamlessly with the throbbing bassline and cinematic sound design.

HeyThatsMyDrink – “Harp Play”

HeyThatsMyDrink returns to our playlist with “Harp Play”, a harp-driven experimental beat that is as cinematic as they come. The slow progression is well crafted and the layered sound design makes for a great listen.

Severe loops – “Egobeef instrumental version”

Spanish producer Severe loops come through with “Egobeef instrumental version” which is a thick hard hitting boom bap offering that we add to include. The basslines are thick and the menacing strings blend perfectly with the hard drums.

prodbyorchestra – “18 w fx”

Emerging producer prodbyorchestra drops this beat “18 w fx” on our list and I must say it’s distinct and weird in a good way. The arrangement is quite sparse save for the mellow piano riff, wobbly bass synth and rolling drums.

Jazzy Geezer – “High Rollers”

UK producer Jazzy Geezer closes out the list with what he calls a gambler’s anthem. The aptly titled track “High Rollers” is a smooth groovy tune that exudes cinematic and suspenseful aesthetics with its moody strings, brass lines and warm tones.
Turn it up and maybe you’d be lucky at the roulette wheel.
