Up and coming emcee Mario Dones craft a new jam he calls “Car Phone Confessions,”.  The record was written during his transition from LA to Brooklyn, is a stream-of-consciousness meditation on maintaining your ambitions in spite of all life’s hang-ups. Think: driving through the city at night, wondering about where you’ve been and where you’re headed. The track was produced by produced by Zaire.

Karate Malt Liquor – The Second Baddest Man in the World

Karate Malt Liquor is a Producer/Artist/Creative based in Philadelphia, Pa. His new single “The Second Baddest Man in the World” is the lead in track on the 5 track EP entitled “One Can Short of a Six Pack” released 2-11-18.

Luke LaShea comes through with this broody jam that shows the artists insightful lyrics and unique performance.

 

Conceit – That Boom Bap (I AM HIP HOP).

Jersey City, N.J. representative Conceit, delivers a concrete statement on his newest record “That Boom Bap(I Am Hip-Hop)” and its accompanying video. The emcee shows he is cut from a different cloth with his unique rap style and deep lyrical content.

Conceit has something to prove! This is more than obvious when you get the chance to see him perform. The energy and passion he displays on stage is only complimented by the creativity and appeal of his music. During a time when hip hop has either gotten to preachy or much too ignorant, Conceit has the ability to mix all that’s good with all that’s hood and give the crowd a show to remember!

 

 

REKALECT – Stayin True

Rekalect keeps it real on his new record “Stayin True”. Over a soulful, mellow backdrop he comes through with his unique melody laced insightful raps.
