For the 1st week in March, we got some interesting offerings for Y’all. Another set of 5 slamming instrumentals to vibe to. Sit back, relax and dig in.

OtterNotBe – Vice Versa

OtterNotBe (aka Will Chambless) is an up-and-coming musician and producer from Birmingham, AL. Influenced by jazz and funk from a young age. OtterNotBe “Vice Versa” is a laid-back joint that is groovy and musically pleasing. Get his full  EP here .

Jonathan Cloud – Volcanic Ash

Jonathan Cloud serves us the intro to his newly-released instrumental project, “Tokyo Donuts.”  This project is based solely off of Japanese source material for samples. Check it out.

Young Citrus – Lovesick

Young Citrus drops his latest track “lovesick” to share his love of music and to give listeners a familiar feeling of 90’s hip-hop nostalgia. Inspired by Mura Masa’s track with the same title and vocal samples, Citrus’ track takes a much simpler approach with a few drum loops and heavy 808s. For the Orange County-raised producer, the title “lovesick” aims to touch base with that universal feeling of loving something or someone so much that it hurts.

GEO – Mágica (feat. Caro Pierotto)

GEO’s “Mágica” is a celebration of his love for Latin music. The producer who listened to jazz as a child and later got hooked on Bossa. This experience greatly influenced his production style which the listener can hear on “Magica”. Exotic, groovy and well crafted.

Soul School – Fukui

Producer Soul School gives us a taste of his mindstate on “Fukui”. Laid back drums, rolling jazz pianos all laced together in the 90s style.
