Truth – “TNT Remix (feat. Tragedy Khadafi)”

Queens emcee Truth teams up with QB hiphop veteran Tragedy Khadafi for the remix of his song “TNT”. Over the solid production by legendary hip-hop producer Large Professor, the duo brings back that good old hip-hop vibe with solid bravado lyrics. The visuals are directed by Tha Embassy Elite, who also directed Truth’s previous video, “Mic Like Boom,” which featured a more effects-heavy approach. For the “TNT Remix,” however, we’re treated to a more stripped-down, grounded affair reminiscent of some of the best rap videos of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. Surrounded by their crew, Truth and Traj spit their verses while we also see shots of a b-boy doing his thing on the pavement. In addition to the beats and bars, Rocksteady’s own DJ JS-1 provides the scratch chorus by fusing quotables from Queens’ luminaries, Mobb Deep, ATCQ, LL Cool J and Run DMC.

Check out the visuals for Truth’s “TNT Remix” and head over to your preferred digital retailer or streaming platform to support his latest LP, The Fight For Survival, which is available now through his own Animal Military Records imprint.
