Long Beach and Inland Empire native Thunderous Knight attributes his love for music and affinity for the arts to his talented parents: his mom, a rapper, and his dad, a doo-wop singer. His intensely musical upbringing coupled with his personal exploration of music, which included being part of a high school beatbox collective, gave him a massive reservoir of endless inspiration that has influenced the music he makes today. He recently put out his EP and now returns with the visuals for the song “No Call No Show”. The track is a bouncy and urgent-sounding track that explores the need for having the confidence to show up for oneself even if no one else does. Armed with an animated flow and vibrant lyrical schemes, Knight takes us through the wringer with relatable and candid lyrics to boot and a memorable hook as well. In his own words, he shows us that self-love heals emotional, physical, and spiritual pain.

The visual is cinematic and follows Knight in different spots from meeting with his homeboys to driving around the city contemplating life and what it might bring.

Thunderous Knight also started the non-profit “The World’s Cure”,  with fellow artists, Deezythesuper and Kenji. The overall goal is to give back to the world by fixing the water contamination in places that need it most.
