Award-winning rapper/songwriter Thomas Iannucci shares his new single “I’m Not Depressed (remix)”. A mellow solemn track that explores the downside of life and how he copes with the craziness. As the title suggests, he approaches the situation with a positive mindset and finds a silver lining in the cloud even if it’s dark. The lyrics are relatable and honest while the chilled guitar-laden backdrop works perfectly with the theme. Also joining Thomas on the track is fellow Hawaii-rapper 8ro8 who reflects on his own circumstances with a somewhat hushed flow. The guitar progression also reminds me of that classic Wyclef/ Mary J Blige song but I may be wrong.
