Over the moody and haunting soundscape made up of lush surreal synths, pulsating basslines and thumping drum grooves, Thea delivers a sultry and ear-gripping vocal performance with a tinge of gloom as she decries the state of affairs where society disregards morality in favour of financial success. In her twisted way, she takes a cynical look at the situation with lines like “Yeah we feel fine everything around us honey/pure shine/feel fine/Oh we feel fine/Live could not be better, don’t we feel fine/Feel fine/Don’t we?” as she takes us through this man-made utopia where everything looks rosy but beauty is only skin deep.
