We have a new duo in the building, both of whom have been putting in work in their respective lanes and are now joining forces to deliver a much-needed ear cleansing. Mexican/American emcee Artson (of the Raramuri Tarahumara tribe) and Filipino-Cuban American artist She-Rōze have combined forces as The You In I and just released their lead single/video entitled “Wake Up.” The aptly titled track is a call to action to lovers of hip-hop to clear the crust from their eyes and wax off their ears, and rise to their potential.

Bolstered by an anthemic backdrop fusing rich textures, bass-driven grooves and scenic pads, the duo blend insightful lyrics with uplifting themes that call on unity, self-belief and the fulfillment of one’s true destiny. She-Rōze leads the charge with powerful and thoughtful bars and cements it with a smooth melodic chorus, calling listeners to wake up from their slumber.
