LA rapper/songwriter She-Rōze returns with a new single which comes on the heels of her debut single “Hold Me Down.” The new release “Tinikling”  is an ode to her Visayan roots and the spirit of her ancestors. Bolstered by the bass-heavy and hard-hitting backdrop provided by BBoy Wicket, She-Rōze delivers an unapologetic and insightful performance that peels back layers of her multi-faceted history and roots. She is also joined by Rae Rae from the Filipino Hip Hop duo Balisong, who closes out the track with her unfiltered and rousing flow as she flips between English and her native language adding an extra flavor to the vibe.

“Tinikling” is taken from the upcoming album, We Rise, due out February 22nd, and proceeds from the album will go to various community organizations She-Rōze partners with as well as her own women-led non-profit organization, the Shero Collective, which is dedicated to empowering the hip hop and BIPOC communities everywhere through arts & culture advocacy, mentorship and career development resources, as well as community insights and professional consulting.
