Soul legend Lee Fields teams up with longtime collaborator keyboardist Toby Pazner of The Olympians for a soulful new interpretation of The Beatles classic “Don’t Let Me Down.” This new rendition is a well-crafted, soul-lifting affair featuring rich textures, layered chords, and soft drum grooves underpinned by Lee Fields’ signature raspy vocals reminiscent of the late James Brown. This is definitely something that lovers of the genre would appreciate.
The collaboration is a welcome studio reunion for both Fields and Pazner, as both men have been touring and performing together for decades and being in the studio is a whole other ball game.
This one-time collaboration is available digitally worldwide exclusively via Colemine Records.
