Who is Teejay Johnson? Well, she is dope emcee from Richmond, VA. Her newest single titled “Way Up” showcases her lyrical dexterity and smooth flow. Over a dark, groovy trap backdrop, she fills the track with raw emotion as she sends shots to the naysayers and haters alike.

Her debut EP ‘My Perception‘ was released in 2014 after which she took time to tour the South-East from her home state of Richmond, VA to Atlanta, GA. Her stops included The Edgar Allan Poe Museum, The Broadberry, Charlottesville Pride, and even opening for Love & Hip Hop star, Rasheeda. Two years after her debut EP, Teejay released her sophomore EP, ‘Love Lines’.  Following the release of “Way Up”, her full project, Drastic Changes, will be released in late summer.
