Tapioca is a Belgian duo made of rapper/lyricist Le Tagarel and producer/composer SiKa who bring a blend of musical styles ranging from soul/funk/hiphop with a Brazilian aesthetic. Their latest release “Cara de Arabe” is a smooth groovy tune that has hints of 70s dance/funk vibes with a modern soulful touch. From the lush textures, warm pads, undeniable grooves and soothing melodic runs, listeners are taken to a place of comfort as the dreamy vibes help whisk our sorrows away for the time being.

The duo made their debut album Voyage under Jakarta Records “Dubplates” series in 2022 and haven’t looked back since.

“Cara de Arabe” is the focus track from Tapioca’s LP Samba em Kigali which can be streamed here.
