Producer Sugi Dakks and singer Whitney Meyers of the transatlantic soul band Triorca, for this awesome collaboration titled “Crazy.” The summer-tinged record dives into the dynamics of the boy meet girl archetype but with a twist that can only be attributed to Sugi Dakks. The lyrics are humor-laden and unapologetic as Dakks peers deep into the cut-throat world of modern dating. It is a situation we are all familiar with and can relate to emotionally. The production is quite bright and funky with high-octane funky groves that mellow out at certain parts. Meyers also delivers the goods with a stunning melodic performance that will linger in the ears of the listener.

The visual concept is refreshing too and instead of using actors, the players here are fingers. The storyboarding and progression are well arranged and set pieces are on point with the continuous motif of trying to find the right person while chasing one’s goals. The results are always almost ending in premium tears.
