Suave-Ski‘s newest release “Dues Paid” is a hard-hitting cut that sees him working with hip-hop veteran Apathy. Over the soul-tinged, grimy soundscape, both emcees go forth and pay homage to the emcees who came before them. Like the title says, it’s all about respect, love for the craft as both share their mutual love for the genre and those who helped the culture grow from where it was to now.
“Dues Paid” is taken from Ski’s Speakeazy project which blends classic samples, banging boom-bap drums, catchy hooks & prominent verses created by him and his producer Alcapella.
