Rotterdam, Netherlands-based siXren is a genre-bending music project by Agnes Momirski who blends off-kilter experimental sounds with hip-hop. The latest single “Vogue” is an anthemic track made up of thick 808s, sparse drums and cinematic textures that rise to a punchy Jersey-type bounce in the chorus section. The raps are expressive and the sultry vocal tone also adds a certain edge to the track.

“Vogue” is taken from siXren’s debut album Alien Diva. The project is a made up of a production that blends deep and dark 808 drums with opulent piano riffs and sci-fi sound design, underlining siXren’s sultry sensual voice and sharp lyricism, permeating with a sensibility for femme futurism and posthuman aesthetics. siXren’s debut music album was recorded/produced in Rotterdam, Ljubljana and Paris with Mazhora, including songs titled Hybrid overture, Vogue, Architect drillers, Post it, Dark femme and Red carpet walk, made to resonate in ballrooms, clubs and gyms.
