Emerging New Haven, Connecticut-based emcee/all-around entertainer Showrocka teams up with D.Cure and Wes Studii for a solid collaboration “The Hype” which aims to break any preconceived notions you might have about their music. Over a piano-laden and moody backdrop, the emcees showcase pure lyricism laced with insight and bravado while reminding us not to believe the hype. The record bridges the gap between old and new, offering something for the radio and the streets, the purists, and even the auto-tuners.

Showrocka is currently active on internet battle platforms Str8sixteen and Emceegods, as well as being a content contributor and actor on the soon-to-be-released 4Bar Show featuring Joell Ortiz. Showrocka’s most recent full-length project entitled I Grew Up on Wu features Young Dirty Bastard , which was released in April.
