Sam Pounds shares visuals for new single “One In A Million” [Video]

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Sam Pounds returns to the forefront with “One In A Million,” a Soul/Funk/R&B collaboration with the live band Family Company. The result is a retro-tinged piece that brings together the soul hits of yesteryears with a new age feel and serves as another highlight of Sam Pounds’ artistry and musical dexterity.

From a production standpoint, the live instrumentation is dynamic, warm and punchy while Pounds’ vocal performance seamlessly cascades the backdrop with a gripping falsetto and low-register melodic runs that hit the mark. Originally from Bahama, North Carolina, Sam Pounds is currently based in LA and is signed to Death Row Records. He has collaborated with Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Killer Mike, the late Liam Payne, Jimmie Allen, Dianne Warren and more. He received Grammy recognition for his contributions to Killer Mike’s MICHAEL album and has also contributed extensively to Jamie Foxx’s upcoming music, TV and film projects.
