Ron A.P.‘s newest release “Malcolm” sees the rapper sharing his candid thoughts on the issues that matter in these crazy times. Inspired by the famous speech by the late great El hajj Malcolm Shabbazz, Ron A.P uses the line “The ballot or the bullet” to drive home his thoughts on systemic racism, discrimination and the current state of affairs in the US.

With lines like “I need answers, not just your guilt or your pity/’cos fairy tales where I’m from, ain’t never been lived out once, no Disney ain’t in my slums“, he vividly describes the grittiness of the world he is thrown into. He is quite unapologetic and thorough in the way he passes the message and leaves listener with something to ponder on.

The visuals are cinematic and focus on performance shots.
