The first track “STONES” brings together vmy and Obie Iyoha and together they deliver emotion-filled performances. Here, Roman leads the charge with his melodic flow and poignant lyrics “You see me bleeding and I drown in tears, I tell no lie/What is the reason why you place me here, I know I die/the only thing I know for sure don’t know if I’m gonna fly“, where he takes an existential look at life. This is followed by a sublime and airy melodic chorus while the other artists add their respective take on pushing through the tough times where hope is nowhere to be found.  The second track “BARDO” features xain and Fonny Savant and is bolstered by an offbeat cinematic soundscape that sounds like something from a suspense thriller flick. Here, the artists reflect on the death of loved ones including xain’s grandmother’s death and a mutual friend to all three. The track is quite emotional and shows a different side to their artistry as audiences get to hear various perspectives of dealing with loss and interconnected stories of their lives.
