Portuguese, UK-based artist Rhea Sun takes a bold step on her new single titled “Leaving.” The track shows a different side as she goes for a dancehall infused style laced with heartwarming RnB elements.

Rhea Sun’s commanding vocals are backed by the bouncy produced by Mark Morrison and Shaun Bailey who laces her up with lush synths, warm basslines, and groovy dancehall drums. It all comes together with Rhea Sun’s commanding performance and unapologetic lyrics that deal with walking away from she calls a complicated relationship.

After being signed by Mark Morrison to his MackLife imprint in early 2020, influenced by artists such as Ari Lennox and Mahalia, Rhea Sun’s unique voice was introduced to the world in April 2020, with the release of her debut single “Train”. The single premiered on Jazz FM, where it became John Osborne’s Track of the Week, has amassed over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone and reached the Top-20 on the official UK Soul Charts.

Rhea Sun’s “Leaving”, is her second single and it’s  available now on Apple Music//Deezer//Spotify
