Rel McCoy teams up with producer Peace 586 for this bravado laced insightful track titled “Toys.” The track is a smooth mid-tempo jam that is rife with punchy drums and a somewhat gritty texture that seamlessly go together.

Rel McCoy is in his element on this tune and delivers a solid performance that fuses excellent wordplay, classic toy references, and the facade that people put on to get by. Lines like “I’m just a sorta different design, Gobots only fold, I transform in my prime, Sand storm in rhyme form, start screaming not leaving, we don’t pay no mind” peek into his perspective of being fake and geniune. You gotta love the Gobbots and Transformers comparison too.
