The Red Bull Music Academy is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year! To say ‘thank you’, they’ve put together a book that chronicles all of the artist interviews and more for you to check out! The book – called For The Record – includes conversations between artists like Just Blaze, Erykah Badu, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Nile Rodgers, and more.

Containing about 400 pages, this book is currently available internationally, but it will be available in the States eventually. It is available for purchase right now, so grab it while it’s available.

The 15 talks took place around the world in locations such as Amsterdam, Paris, New York and Berlin. Wide-ranging and expansive, the artists involved touched on an array of topics, live performance, instruments/interfaces, conceptualism, drumming, and rhythm among them.

In addition to the conversations, top music journalists – including Philip Sherburne, Joe Muggs, Jeff ‘Chairman’ Mao and Sheryl Garratt – contribute essays about each of the personalities included. Together with stunning visual design by Chris Rehberger’s Double Standards agency, the results make for one of the most insightful publications on the current state of music and the music industry.
