Singer/composer Rachel Mazer drops her sophomore single titled “Open Heart” which follows her previous release “Is it so wrong”. The multi instrumenntalist deliver a heartfelt performance over the multi-layered soundscape provided by Tyler Duncan. Not only her compelling songwriting is felt on the song but also her musiciannship as she plays tenor saxophone as well. Her soul-drenched vocals display an edgy, alluring vibe as she dwells on  the shifting paradigm of love, intimacy, and openness. It’s particularly heartfelt and innspirational as well when she sings “...No amount of scars are gonna break an open heart

“Open Heart” is taken from her upcoming debut album which will see the light of day in 2019.

Rachel Mazer started her career from playing various instruments (saxophone, bass, guitar) with different LA and Michigan bands including — as the sax player at some Vulfpeck shows or during their off-the-wall album pre-order telethons, the bass player on May Erlewine and Anna Ash’s last tour, the saxophone player on the new Woman Believer (Christine Hucal – ‘Back Pocket’) and Jacob Jeffries record, or a background singer on Joey Dosik’s latest record.
