Chi-town emcee Qwazaar of Typical Cats fame is back with producer Batsauce for their fourth collaborative project Stoned Giant. The two met in Berlin in 2008 when Bat was living there and Qwa was on tour. Since then the duo released three projects, and for the last year or two, they started working on the project.
To whet the appetites of listeners, the duo also shares the animated visual for the single “Still Here.”  The Batsauce produced track has a punchy and campy feel with its crisp drums and dusty textures. It sure provides the perfect backdrop for Qwazaar’s spirited flow and vivid lyrics. The track also sees the reunion of Typical Cats members Qwel and Denizen Kane who both bring well-crafted and insightful verses to the fore. Willie Evans Jr. (formerly of Asamov) also throws down a guest verse to complete the cipher.

The “Still Here” visuals were animated by Batsauce himself. The muted colors and educational video-Esque graphics in the video bear a striking resemblance to Electric Company’s trippy animated shorts from the ’70s.
