PHLOW_MBAP_BACK

Last year, we introduced you to this enigmatic emcee called Phlow hailing from the motherland and precisely from the country of Nigeria. That reputation track got her a lot of accolades especially since she brought lyricism as a female to a male dominated field reeking of trap songs in the name of hip hop. But now she serves us a plateful with Mind, Body and Phlow though not an album but this would suffice for now. I won’t even front, Phlow got me reminiscing on rappers like Queen Latifah and Heather B because she’s got that flavour plus she got our own Teck-Zilla going a little off-kilter with the production. Then again, I am not surprised since she is being mentored by the Str8Buttah cats so she’s got no choice but to deliver. Sample Phlow’s ep and get your ears in tandem with her sound and flow. Shout out to Maka for bringing the floetic soul on two of the cuts.
