Passport Rav goes on a very profound journey on his new song “Outer Riches Inner Poverty” and its accompanying visuals sure bring a whole new meaning to the song. Over a broody soulful backdrop devoid of hard drums, Rav takes time to reflect on the history of blacks in America, capitalism and his own personal experiences on life.  The smooth-voiced emcee delivers with a calm demeanor and each line makes one think profoundly about what could be.

The visuals were shot in London just before the Covid19 lockdown and it follows Rav at night in various parts in London. “Outer Riches Inner Poverty” is taken from his forthcoming EP Dual Citizenship, a 6 track project that blends lo-fi hip-hop textures with Rav’s insightful lyrics. The EP was mostly produced by OMZ.
