Norway based producer/DJ Nod Steady‘s new single “Interjection” is a laid back but gripping beat that exudes a weird cinematic and moody feel.

The drums used here are heavy and crisp and form the perfect foundation for the layered texture that sounds like something out of an action flick. Although it has driving energy, it is quite chill and can serve as background music while ones doing chores or cruising around town.

Nod Steady is a one-man free-form experimental music project. Born and raised in Bodø, Norway in ’79, he now lives and works in Oslo. He got into DJing in the early 90’s, and soon after, began making music on his parent’s home computer.  The name Nod Steady is partly inspired by the hip-hop classic “The Nod Factor” by Mad Skillz, and hints at beats with a nod factor.
