New York-based multi-faceted artist Nick Marks brings something refreshing and exciting to his new release “Back To Life (Instrumental)”. The genre-bedning composition blends nu-jazz, lofi-hiphop with a neo-soul feel. From the plucky chords, prevalent bass-driven grooves and jazzy horns to the switch up into a chilled relaxing section filled with dynamic chords and expressive improv jazz fills, audiences are in for a thrill from start to finish.
Marks originally wrote this chilled as two separate instrumental beats while scoring a show he works on for NPR.
