New York-based artist Nick Marks is back in business, and on his new release, “do wut u luv,” he taps into a mixed bag of sounds ranging from modern neo soul/jazz and funk. From the anthemic horns, plucky bassline-driven grooves with funky undertones and soul-stirring textures. It’s definitely the result of loving what you do.
