New York based artist Nick Marks is a man who wears many hats. A multi-faceted composer who traverses the worlds of modern jazz with electronica aesthetics and future soul sensibilities. He is presently working on a bundle of songs that would see him collaborating with a host of musicians from across the globe. The first of which is “Current Location,” a cinematic ensemble piece that brings together producer CARRTOONS, Dave Levy, vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu, Chris Ott, Brittany Harris, Doron Lev, renowned Chilean pianist/songwriter Benjamin Furman, Sarpay Ozcagatay, and Leandro Pellegrino. The result is a blissful genre-bending piece that is multi-layered, dynamic and soul-stirring from start to finish.
