After losing a loved one and a fellow musician to breast cancer, Nenjah Nycist produces a 12-track instrumental album titled ‘love.lo: a lo-fi beat tape‘ – an album for “…the lovers and the lost.” Newly signed to independent label Raised Fist Records, artist Nenjah Nycist releases his second instrumental album (“love.lo“) on Valentine’s Day via www.nenjahnycist.com. All proceeds from “love.lo” will be donated to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, in honor of his late friend/collaborator. Produced in Nenjah’s new recording studio, The Dojo Studios – “love.lo: a lo-fi beat tape” seamlessly combines warped jazz samples from various parts of the world (Japan, South Africa, USA) in combination with muddy hip hop drum machine sounds. Mastered at Cobra Sun Studios on the Otari MTR 10 Analog Tape Machine, “love.lo” invokes an organic vintage sound mixed with nostalgic pop culture soundbytes.

After receiving an invitation for his band, Rising Sun All Stars, to perform at the reputable SoFar Sounds (NYC) event, he hopes to have the album available on vinyl in the near future.
