Rapper/Educator Mr Pope takes his skillset to a higher level via his music. Fusing hiphop, his personal experiences and academia to reach the youth, Mr Pope delivers his own brand of rap music that everyone can relate to. His latest piece of work is titled “What Do I Do.” The soulful single sees the rapper speak on the pitfalls of street life and its effect on the youths and then some.

Mr Pope is a reading teacher on the West side of Chicago in the Austin community who writes music that reflects his experiences as an educator and brother in the struggle for equality. Buried within each song is pain, hope, love, and joy, and the interactions and experiences that waken those emotions. His upcoming project titled “Lesson Plans” attempts to provide insight and inspiration to all involved in the struggle.
