Singer/songwriter Monica Para teams up with Montreal rapper DiabloPablo MTL for this heartfelt and soulful track titled “Amargo.” The title means bitter in Spanish and it’s a bi-lingual track that deals with heartbreak, redemption, and the emotions that come with not knowing what will be. Monica leads the charge with her mellow and sublime vocal runs followed by Diablo’s impassioned flow and evocative lyrics that dive into the dynamics of fledgling love with both artists presenting different sides of the same coin.
The production is superb too and it makes use of melancholic piano riffs, moody basslines and soft drum grooves to match.
“Amargo” is Monica Para’s debut single.
Monica Para is a singer-songwriter of Indian and Armenian origin while Diablo Pablo MTL is a Montreal-based MC, Bboy, and social worker, of Ecuadorian origin.
