Vancouver-raised, Montreal-born singer/songwriter Miranda Joan released her single/video “Bada Bing!” late last year to much praise. The CARRTOONS produced track sees the singer playfully leaning into her Italian heritage and explores the flirtatious Bada Bing! fireworks moment when you meet someone new. Armed with her distinct and expressive melodic style, Miranda details that explosive soul-changing moment when that special someone walks into your life.
Now, she returns with a live performance visual of “Bada Bing! (Live at the Dinner Table)” with the assistance of fellow New York vocalist Dre Scot. The stripped-down version is brimming with layered harmonies from her backup singers, rich piano textures and finger snaps. On the visual front, viewers are invited to a dinner party filled with freshly made pasta with red sauce and wine.
DeAndre Brackensick aka Dre Scot was a two-time American Idol finalist before being discovered by Russell Wilson and signing to Ciara’s record label. The live performance video of his track “Feelings” featured Miranda Joan on backing vocals and rapidly went viral last year. He recently headed to Coachella, providing backing vocals for Benson Boone. “Bada Bing! (Live at the Dinner Table)”also features vocals from Inés Nassara, Johnny Del Toro and Kyana Fanene – who is appearing on the current series of American Idol – and was filmed by Gigi Nettles (who directed the original music video).
