Coming from the belly of Connecticut, this budding emcee Marvalyss takes us back to central nerve of hip hop with his latest and very conscious effort Marvis Luther King. Of course there is no gainsaying that with the title you already know this material is a tribute to the late great Dr. Martin Luther King. This project which is entirely produced by G Whiz; the sounds are just perfect for each track and not overdone; takes one on a nostalgic trip back to the emancipation of the negro era and how Marvalyss  has processed it in his present mindframe. Lyrics, flow and delivery all are checked and Marvalyss doesn’t try to approach by wanting to appeal to pop culture but those that care to listen to his message. The project won’t be complete without the timely interjections of the great MLK himself. Its great to hear hip hop with a message in this era of trap. Respect to Marvalyss for this dope project.
