Rising UK rapper Mamy Dope brings us up to speed with his current endeavors on his new track titled “Misunderstood 2”. The single is an honest look into the life of an artist reaching for the peak in his career. Over a mellow, reflective backdrop, he shares some of the things he had to go through to stay focus on his music grind but it’s not all rosy as he gives us the rough side of things as well.

Born and raised in South East London, carrying with him a West African (Sierra Leone) heritage, Mamy Dope (Alhaji Wurie) is a fast-rising Rapper/writer who specializes in UK/Trap music. He is well known for his unique sound-creating distinctive hooks, and drawing inspiration from the likes of QuavoJuicy JSnoop DoggWretch 32 and more. After self-releasing three viral videos in 2015, he then featured in the Red Bull UK Afrobeats Cypher 2016.
