Award-Winning Canadian/London-based artist, songwriter, and producer Laura Roy shares a new song “Not Afraid” taken from her Tides EP. The track is as solemn as they come and is bolstered by a mellow warm guitar backline and soft drum grooves that blend perfectly with Roy’s sublime vocal runs. She reflects on a faltering relationship and exudes the inner strength to move on if things don’t go right.

After collaborating with UK producer/artist Geo Jordan and Grammy-nominated artist Lianne La Havas to create a project that blends Laura’s early folk/singer-songwriter influences from her upbringing in rural Nova Scotia, Canada with her love for classic and contemporary R&B.
