Rochester, NY producer Kidd Called Quest returns with his new single “D Boy” which sees him linking with Midwest spitter 2100 Bagz. The result is a well-crafted aspirational/motivational track that is much needed in these tough times. Kidd crafts a mellow and solemn piece using a familiar string sample over a sparse drum groove while 2100 Bagz details how he stays active as he pursues his goals.

Kidd Called Quest has also confirmed that this is the first in a series of tracks that he and Bagz have been working on.

This is the latest in a series of dope releases from Kidd Called Quest who recently dropped an instrumental project Sounds Of The Track which was meant as an unofficial soundtrack to 1975 Blaxploitation classic The Candy Tangerine Man.
