Rising hiphop act Jozzy delivers her unique brand of R&B tinged hiphop on her newest record titled “Push Thru”. Over a dreamy, bouncy backdrop, she delivers a go get it attitude with her smooth, melodious vocals. Drenched in her own swag, she urges the listener to  show up, shoot your shot, and be proud regardless of the outcome. 

Jozzy was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Several years ago her first break came when Timbaland’s team asked that she come to Miami, FL so they could work more closely. Not long after the move, Missy Elliott would reach out in admiration of Jozzy’s style and voice. “Missy was the real reason for me wanting to pursue my career as an artist” she recalls.

Ready for a fresh start, Jozzy relocated to Los Angeles, CA earlier this year to write and focus on her project. Jozzy would soon be working with the likes of Diplo and Murda Beatz, to Goldlink and Mura Masa. She co-wrote this years Official FIFA World Cup Theme Song, and has penned songs for other artists like Chris Brown (“Nowhere”), Tinashe (“Ooh la la”), and Dreezy (“Where Them $ @“) so far this year.
