José James is one of my favourite dudes in Jazz because of his soulful jaunts; his voice applies itself to his eclectic mix of instrumentation, ranging from Jazz to Funk to Electronica. With an album set to drop on Blue Note Records next year, José James drops this EP. Featuring remixes from DJ Spinna and Oddisee, as well as the track Trouble (which US readers can download for free after the jump), it’s a real sweet release.
