The Basement EP is the latest collaboration between Montreal emcee Johnny Thursday and Toronto singer/emcee Berta. The short body of work is a dense, somewhat soul jazz infused collage between the two acts. The backdrop crafted by producers Freddie Joachim, Mr Drunk, Tommy Mas and Mobster provide the near perfect canvas for Johnny‘s gruff approach and Berta’s complementing smooth vocals.
