London based Afropop singer Jobaa shares his new single “Bad Boy” that pays homage to the players, especially one of the Yoruba ilk. The Jaypizzle produced cut has a nice smooth groove and warm textures that work well with Jobaa’s silky melodic runs and a somewhat tongue-in-cheek approach to the topic.

Born and raised in Lagos, and now residing in London, Jobaa developed a keen interest in music from a very young age, and started making music in secondary school as part of the teenage pop group Untamed. The group disbanded when Jobaa went to university, but it was there that he honed his solo artist skills further, becoming popular around campus for buzzworthy tracks ‘Bad Belle’ and ‘Ololufe’. Fast forward to 2020 and Jobaa is now signed to UK indie label JustJojo, with his anticipated debut EP scheduled for early 2021.
