LA based singer/songwriter Jaafar Jackson teams up with director Marcos Cavallaria who helps bring the young entertainer’s new song “Got Me Singing” to life. The vibrant song was produced by Jackson’s chief collaborator Hardy Indiigo [Madonna, Carlos Santana], who crafts a catchy and groovy canvass for Jackson’s smooth and alluring melodies. Blending R&B, pop, and Caribbean elements, the dynamic track showcases Jackson’s vocal dexterity as he builds from breathy verses into a show-stopping refrain just before he croons the irresistible hook.  “Got Me Singing”  is definitely a solid introduction to Jaafar Jackson’s unique sound and of course his upcoming album.

For the visuals, Marcos Cavallaria goes for a more down to Earth look as Jackson is seen doing his thing in Brazil. He is immersed in the local scene soaking up the energy and culture besides the awesome dance routines. “Got Me Singing” is the first taste of new music off of Jaafar’s forthcoming independent full-length, Famous, which will be released on his birthday, July 25th. For those that don’t know Jaafar Jackson is the son of legendary singer/songwriter Jermaine Jackson.
