Virginia Beach raised emcee J.R.Clark delivers a blend of bravado and a go-getter mentality in his new release titled “Perception”. Over a soulful and crisp soundscape, he shares his thoughts on the game and the ups and downs it can put one through. From losing friends, and losing hope to gaining notoriety and fame, Clark looks at all the possibilities and weighs the options as he takes steps to get to the apex.

The visual is made up of several performance shots of the rapper doing his thing and flexing on the opposition in luxurious whips.

He is currently preparing to drop his new EP My State of Mind: The Prelude.

 

Jerry Clark Juneau better known as a rapper, J.R.Clark is a Rap artist based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He’s changing the hip-hop industry by proving an independent artist can cultivate an impressive body of work, collaborating with major artists and building a following without the help of a major record label. Drawing from his own life experiences, J.R.Clark music style and inspiration comes from mainstream artists such as Rick Ross, Curren$y, J.Cole, Dave East and Nipsey Hussle. J.R.Clark started his music career as a studio engineer and a studio owner for 6 years before stepping into the path of an independent hip-hop artist. His passion for hip-hop music was cultivated and inspired by recording local artist from the 757 region of Virginia.
