Legendary rapper/producer/DJ J. Period closes out the year with this awesome musical initiative which sees him fusing rap with comic books and Basketball. What J. Period has done here is unveil a limited edition comic book -and-record set in collaboration with acclaimed illustrator Dan Lish inspired by the celebrated single “Globetrottin” from Story To Tell (Chapter One) starring Masego, Shad, Jemele Hill & Bobbito Garcia. To celebrate the release, J. Period drops the single “The Legend of Globetrottin” which comes with an Animated Comic Book and Live-Action Featurette.

The short film merges music, story, illustration, animation, live-action short and puppets (!) featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff and puppet and production designers THE BOOM BAP KIDS into a living, breathing work of multimedia art.
