Hugh the director of Bobby Basil‘s (out of the Irish group Dah Jevu) came through & submitted the dope visuals for Bobby’s latest Single “G Train”. Very dope work by Hugh, accompanied by equally dope rhymes. The production is removed from that usual hip hop beat, and displays clear footwork influences, featuring Wastefellow on the hook.

@Hugh: Thanks for your readership and submission.

I shot this in New York City back in July over the course of a month when myself and Bobby were over. As you can see it’s quite candid and is essentially us documenting our time there, from our chance encounter with New York graffiti icon ‘Fume’ (one of the instigators of the famous 5 Pointz) to shots of the crowd losing it to Skepta at MoMA PS1; I think the video stands as a testimony to us falling in love with NYC but also the current global diversity in modern music.
