Singer/producer Upper Reality is our latest find this week. The multi-talented Texan offers a fresh take on electro-soul and RnB on her latest effort “Slowly”. The song starts with a dusty reggae dub sample before switching into a surreal/dreamy soundscape built with a minimalist concept. The drums have a trap vibe laced with a solid bassline and guitars which enhance the left-field aura of the song. Vocally she delivers a rich, sultry performance that is both expressive and angelic. As a fully formed act, she is totally hands-on with her music as everything here was produced by her.

“Slowly” is off her recently released EP Holy Mountain Wata.
