Indie rapper Ignite Mindz drops a new single, “Thump,” that puts him in a celebratory mood. The track has a sparse arrangement comprising horn stabs, subtle sample chops, and heavy boom-bap drums reminiscent of DJ Premier‘s production in the mid-90s. The lyrics are vivid, engaging and built around having fun at a live event with good people around.
