Emerging UK producer Hemai makes his entry on TWIB in grand style and shares some tracks from his stash.

The first cut we have is titled “Awake Indigo” and it’s a smooth ethereal and vibrant track that sees him working with the Submotion Orchestra vocalist Ruby Wood. Hemai really pulls out the big guns here with his bright and dynamic production ripe with rapid firing synth plucks, warm basslines, rousing drums, and ethereal strings/pads. Wood sure delivers the goods with her sublime melodic runs and seamlessly weaves in and out of the enthralling backdrop.

On “We Could Be Jaded” he recruits the vocal talents of singer/rapper Layfullstop and the result is a nostalgia-inducing piece. The record has a fluid jazz-infused arrangement. The textures are lush and layered with moody intensity that fits the singer’s laidback melodies and expressive style.
